About the process

I don’t begin with ideas. I begin with attention.

For years I have been training myself to recognize images hidden inside ordinary reality. Folds of fabric, discarded materials and accidental arrangements become places where figures emerge on their own.

My work is not driven by invention, but by recognition. Each composition is the result of discovering something that seemed invisible until the moment it could no longer be ignored.

This practice asks a simple question: if an image already exists before it is consciously seen, who is its author?
