Party Boyz is a powerful manifestation of contemporary urban art and dark surrealism, deeply rooted in personal experience and the raw aesthetics of street culture. The painting depicts three neighborhood boys arriving at a party, each carrying a single contrasting balloon—a subtle symbol of their good intentions.

The heart of this work lies in its unique and intuitive creative process. The multi-faced figures originated from a crumpled sheet of paper, which was carefully illuminated in the studio. By observing the dramatic interplay of light and shadow cast by the paper’s physical folds, these distorted yet profoundly human faces were organically revealed from the darkness. Rather than imposing a predetermined composition, the artist allows the material itself to guide the form, developing the story and narrative only as the figures begin to emerge on the canvas.

Once the fractured, stone-like faces had taken shape, they were completed with unmistakable elements of street culture: iconic three-striped tracksuits and a glowing crown pendant, firmly placing the characters within the visual language of Eastern European housing estates. The entire scene unfolds against a deep nocturnal background illuminated by a distant moon, capturing the atmosphere and energy of urban nightlife.
